Tyra Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Statistical Programming, to make impactful contributions to projects targeting disease areas with high unmet medical needs. The successful candidate will be highly organized, self-motivated, and thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional start-up environment.

This position will support multiple clinical studies and be accountable for the timely delivery, quality, and integrity of statistical programming deliverables. The role will also contribute to the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of the Statistical Programming infrastructure, processes, and tools.

Job Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead statistical programming activities for multiple clinical studies and development programs from study startup through study closeout and regulatory submission.
\n
• Accountable for the quality, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all statistical programming deliverables across assigned studies and programs.
\n
• Perform hands-on statistical programming activities as needed, including development and validation of SDTM, ADaM, TLFs, and exploratory analyses
\n
• Provide technical oversight and review of programming deliverables generated by internal staff, CROs, and contractors.
\n
• Collaborate closely with Biostatistics, Data Management, Clinical Operations, Medical Writing, and Regulatory Affairs to support study execution and submission readiness.
\n
• Support statistical programming initiatives including establishing CDISC dataset standards, infrastructure, onboarding, and programming processes and implementation.
\n
• Identify problems and develop global tools that increase the efficiency and capacity of the Statistical Programming group.
\n
• Be a technical resource for programming group to provide advice on complex programming tasks and/or standards.
\n
• Represent statistical programming in cross-functional teams and process improvement initiatives.
\n
• Contribute to department culture building and engagement.
\n
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline with 8-10+ years of statistical programming experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments; or Master's degree with 6-8+ years of relevant experience. .
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading statistical programming activities across multiple concurrent clinical studies and development programs
\n
• Software Knowledge: A comprehensive knowledge of SAS and CDISC standards. Strong knowledge and skills of programming in SAS.
\n
• Pinnace 21 knowledge for validation and submission.
\n
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience working in a small, start-up biotech work environment preferred.
\n
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
\n
• Strong analytical and strategic ability.
\n
• Ability to work independently and to multi-task large projects or compounds, ability to change pace and tasks as needed.
\n
• Ability to lead and/or be a proven leader in a line function responsibility, as well as having an ability to influence in a matrix global environment.
\n
• Have proven ability to drive decisions and manage in difficult business situations.
\n
• Ability to accommodate up to 10% travel or as business dictates.
\n

Pay Range and Benefits

\n

Base Salary Range : $198,163 - $216,198 USD

\n

Individual compensation will be determined based on factors such as work location, skills, education, training, and experience.

\n
