VIBE CONCEPTS, a family-founded company with a rich heritage dating back to 1991, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Communications Director to join our leadership team. Founded by brothers Dan, John, and Mike Shipp, VIBE CONCEPTS has grown from a single small burger and shake restaurant, Spanky's Roadhouse, into a thriving enterprise operating twelve unique restaurants with over 600 dedicated employees. As Communications Director, you will be instrumental in shaping and promoting the company's brand and its values, enhancing internal and external communications, managing our public relations strategies, and fostering a strong, consistent message that resonates with our customers, employees, and partners. • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's core values and business goals.
• Manage all internal communication channels to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all departments and teams.
• Oversee external communications, including press releases, media relations, and corporate announcements to enhance brand image and public awareness.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to create cohesive brand messaging and promotional campaigns for all twelve restaurants.
• Lead crisis communication efforts when necessary, providing timely and transparent information to manage reputation and stakeholder engagement.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local community organizations, media outlets, and other partners to support neighborhood enhancement initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans accordingly.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in communications, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies that drive brand growth and engagement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage internal teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience in crisis communication and media relations with a calm, strategic approach to challenging situations.
• Passion for community involvement and the ability to represent the company's values in every interaction and initiative.
