Full-Time Split-Shift Nanny needed in Mount Kisco, NY | Live-Out or Live-In

Position: Full-Time Nanny
Location: Chappaqua, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $28–$30/hour, Depending on experience 
Benefits: Paid holidays and paid time off
Commitment: Long-term preferred

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–10:00 AM and 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
• One weekend day preferred
• 40 guaranteed hours per week IF working at least one weekend shift to supplement the 30 weekday hours
• Weekend scheduling to be discussed with the family
• The weekday split schedule is required; candidates must be comfortable with both morning and evening shifts

A loving family in Chappaqua, NY is seeking a warm, dependable nanny to care for their almost 4-year-old son and 14-month-old daughter. The family recently relocated and is looking for a long-term caregiver to support morning and evening routines, along with weekend care.

About the Family & Setup:

The family’s current nanny works Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. This position will complement her schedule, providing consistent care before and after her shift. Their son attends pre-K from 9:15 AM–2:15 PM.

Both live-out and live-in candidates are welcome to apply. Live-in accommodations include a private bedroom and private bathroom, with the possibility of adding a private kitchenette. No work is required during off-duty hours. Accommodation terms will be discussed and finalized before an offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help the children wake up, get dressed, and prepare for the day
• Transport their son to school in the morning
• Care for their daughter until the daytime nanny arrives at 10:00 AM
• Provide attentive, age-appropriate care and activities during scheduled hours
• Serve the children dinner and manage evening and bedtime routines
• Provide weekend care during agreed-upon hours
• Handle light, child-related housekeeping, including tidying play areas, children’s laundry, and cleaning up after meals
• Communicate clearly with the parents and daytime nanny to maintain consistent routines and smooth handoffs

Ideal Candidate:

• Professional nanny experience caring for toddlers and preschool-aged children
• Warm, patient, dependable, and proactive
• Comfortable caring for two children and collaborating with another nanny
• Available for the required weekday split shifts and at least one weekend shift
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Own reliable vehicle preferred; a vehicle may be provided for work-related driving if necessary
• Seeking a lasting relationship with a family and committed to consistent, thoughtful care
