Job Description

Storino, Ramello & Durkin, located in Rosemont, Illinois, is looking for an experienced legal assistant/paralegal, full-time or part-time. The qualified candidate must: 

Responsibilities

• Support approximately five attorneys with a variety of legal and administrative tasks
• Prepare, revise, and manage pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Handle electronic filings in state and federal courts using Odyssey eFileIL and PACER
• Manage filings in Cook County, DuPage County, and other jurisdictions while ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines
• Maintain case files, calendars, and litigation deadlines
• Assist with discovery, document management, and case organization
• Assist with commercial and residential real estate matters
• Assist with municipal law and local government-related matters
• Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties
• Utilize legal technology and document management systems to support daily workflow

Qualifications

• 2+ years of legal assistant or paralegal experience preferred
• Litigation experience required
• Recent experience with state and federal court e-filing, including Odyssey eFileIL and PACER, is required
• Strong understanding of court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
