Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLessons In Your Home is looking for passionate, dependable Piano Teachers to join our team throughout the Denver Metro area, with a particular need in Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Castle Rock, and the surrounding southern suburbs.We also have opportunities for teachers who specialize in Guitar, Voice, Drums, and other instruments.About Lessons In Your HomeOur goal goes beyond simply teaching students how to play an instrument. We believe great music teachers build meaningful relationships with their students and families while helping each student develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong connection to music.Our teachers work with a wide variety of students and are supported by a collaborative team that values communication, professionalism, and continued growth.What You'll DoTeach primarily beginner-level students ages 5–15 in their homes.Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build strong musical foundations.Use teaching methods and strategies that support long-term musical development and progress.Develop individualized lesson plans and demonstrate a clear approach to teaching children and beginners.Help each student develop their own musical identity through repertoire that evolves as their skills and interests grow.Introduce students to appropriate songs and repertoire starting at the early-beginner level.Prepare students for and participate in annual recitals and performance opportunities.Build positive relationships with students and their families.Communicate consistently and professionally with students, parents, and the Lessons In Your Home team.What We're Looking ForSuccessful teachers are:Passionate about music and genuinely enjoy working with children.Comfortable teaching students with different personalities, learning styles, and skill levels.Reliable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.Comfortable traveling to students' homes throughout your teaching area.Available primarily during weekday afternoons/evenings (typically 3–8 PM) and/or weekends.Responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls in a timely manner.Authorized to work in the United States.Compensation & GrowthStarting pay: $50 per hour of teaching time, with opportunities to increase your rate over time.Teachers with a music degree, formal training, or previous teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
